Haworth Tompkins have won an invited competition to design a performing arts centre in Bergen. Along with our partners, Norwegian practice HLM, we will be refurbishing 'Sentralbadet', the modernist 1960 building by architect Halfdan Grieg. The building, formerly housing Bergen's city swimming pool, will be transformed into a venue for Carte Blanche, Norway’s national company for contemporary dance, and the theatre group BIT Teatergarasjen.
