This summer we hosted 14 students for week-long work experience placements at our Kentish Town studio, supported by a group of Part I mentors. The programme aims to offer students an idea of what being an architect involves through a mini creative project - researching and designing their own version of our Dovecote Studio, using modelmaking, hand drawings and digital packages. The weeks were supplemented with site visits and meetings, and all concluded with informal crits in which they presented their work and discussed routes to careers in architecture.
