Blackwall Reach on site 27.02.19

Work has started on site in Poplar for the Blackwall Reach Regeneration Project. Demolition and piling are now complete with the basement currently under construction, and technical design of the prefabricated façade is ongoing. Haworth Tompkins are designing two of the four blocks in phase two, alongside Metropolitan Workshop, for Swan Housing Association. This phase provides 268 high quality, mixed tenure new homes, arranged around the Millennium Green, an existing public green space running through the centre of the site which is to be regenerated as part of the works.
