Colour beyond the Surface: Art in Architecture 30.09.22

Colour beyond the Surface: Art in Architecture is a new book by Fiona McLachlan which discusses the role of art in architecture, with a particular focus on colour and the dynamic relationships between light, form, material surface, space and movement. Artistic collaboration is very important to us as a practice and we have worked with several artists over the years. This book looks at six of our projects with Antoni Malinowski: Bush Theatre, Chichester Festival Theatre, Coin Street Neighbourhood Centre, Donmar Dryden Street, Liverpool Everyman and Royal Court, and Scotsman Steps one of our collaborations with Martin Creed. Published by Lund Humphries, the book is available now.
