Haworth Tompkins has been awarded BD’s Higher Education Architect of the Year Award for a body of work that includes Kingston School of Art, the Warburg Institute and Pembroke College, Cambridge.

The practice showed consistent commitment to sustainability in a heritage and new build context with an excellent range and diversity in their work. The sensitivity of Kingston School of Art marks this as a standout submission."
Pembroke Mill Lane, Cambridge picked up two awards at the 2025 Brick Awards last night, including winner of the Education category for outstanding architectural design, craftsmanship, and innovation in educational spaces, as well as a Special Award for Excellence.
