Throughout the summer, Haworth Tompkins worked in collaboration with the Estates team at Kingston University to plan and coordinate the reopening of the Penrhyn Road, Knights Park and Kingston Hill campuses for the new academic year. The project assessed capacities for all spaces in line with Government guidelines, provided COVID-safe technical workshops and lab spaces to allow practical learning to continue, and included the installation of 32,000 signs and notices across dozens of individual buildings and outdoor spaces.
