HT Associate Directors Dan Tassell, Hugo Braddick and Ken Okonkwo, and Head of Sustainability and Regenerative Design, Diana Dina, have all been selected as part of exciting industry initiatives. Dan Tassell and Hugo Braddick have been chosen as members of the NLA Expert Panels this year. Dan will be joining the Education panel which focuses on future needs of the sector and explores how we make sure we plan and design the right spaces. Hugo will be part of the Industrial & Logistics group, supporting the urban logistics that keep the capital functioning. Ken Okonkwo has joined the Ebbsfleet Design Forum. Aiming to review proposals at an early stage, the Forum will scrutinise proposals for new development and give clear advice to developers and planners before schemes are considered by the corporation’s planning committee, ensuring that the highest possible quality of development is achieved. And Diana Dina will be a returning judge at the AJ Retrofit Awards as well as part of the panel judging their Student Prize. The Retrofit award recognises projects where the client is given a successful alternative to demolition and new-build, and are proven to be contributing to energy saving principles and lower whole-life carbon emissions.
