Planning Permission for Canada Water 28.07.22

Haworth Tompkins are working with British Land to deliver 237 new homes at Canada Water, the Allies and Morrison designed Masterplan, in the heart of London. The ambition is for an innovative urban block, which can capture the essence of the broader Canada Water ideals of a mixture of uses with a diverse and balanced community. Our scheme is comprised of three buildings containing 174 affordable homes, including a mixture of studios and one-bed to five-bed apartments, as well as community and commercial space at ground-floor level. The London Borough of Southwark has recently approved the planning application and construction is expected to start in 2023.
