Pavilion Craned into Place at the NT 23.02.18

The National Theatre Deck is a new lightweight, timber framed and naturally ventilated space for events, replacing an existing, uninsulated temporary building. Currently on site, the pavilion was conceived by Haworth Tompkins and developed in collaboration with specialist designers and fabricators Stage One, who prefabricated the project off site, allowing a swift and non-invasive installation onto the untouched roof of the NT.
