Graham Haworth

Graham leads a diverse portfolio of work covering new and existing buildings for cultural, higher education and commercial clients, together with place making and masterplanning work for culture, education, workspace and housing. Graham studied at the Universities of Nottingham and Cambridge. Upon graduation in 1984, he worked in the USA, at Skidmore Owings & Merrill, and at Bennetts Associates, before founding Haworth Tompkins with Steve Tompkins in 1991. Graham has lectured and been a visiting critic at a number of leading schools of architecture including the University of Cambridge, the AA, Yale University and Georgia Tech. He has contributed to several publications and television programmes on architecture, including The Art Show, Dreamspaces, and Buildings That Shaped Britain. He has a great interest in contemporary art, advising on public art procurement & production, and has collaborated with American artist Dan Graham and Turner prize-winning artists Martin Creed and Grenville Davey.
