David joined Haworth Tompkins in 2019 and is involved in a number of the studio’s housing projects. Prior to joining the practice he worked at Allies and Morrison and Carl Turner Architects where he gained experience on performing arts, masterplanning and meanwhile use projects. David studied at the University of Sheffield for his RIBA Part I and II. He was actively involved in teaching at the school, undertaking research into student wellbeing that he presented at the annual Association of Architectural Educators conference. His masters thesis project won the Bryan Jefferson Prize and was nominated for the RIBA Silver Medal.
