Christopher Laing
—Architectural Assistant PI

Christopher Laing joined Haworth Tompkins in September 2017 and has been actively involved in various mixed use projects. Prior to this, Chris studied Architecture at Kingston University and Interior Architecture and Design at UCA. He is currently in the final year of his MA at the RCA. Competition experience includes the AIA UK Student Design Charrette Competition (2014), where Chris’s team achieved third place. He is a British Sign Language user and a co-founder of Signstrokes, an online facility that informs BSL interpreters and Deaf users of BSL architectural terms. This is an open resource for the deaf community in order that architecture can be fully accessible.
