Tania Oramas Dorta
—Associate

Tania joined Haworth Tompkins in 2021 and became an associate in 2026. She has been actively involved in some of the studio’s cultural and educational projects, with a particular focus on conservation and projects within complex historic settings. These include the award-winning Pembroke Mill Lane redevelopment, the modernist De La Warr Pavilion, and, most recently, the Royal Festival Hall. Prior to joining Haworth Tompkins, Tania worked on the refurbishment of the iconic modernist Sant Antoni Market in Barcelona with Ravetllat-Ribas, and on the transformation of the Art Deco Farsons Brewery in Malta with Ian Ritchie Architects.


Tania studied at the Barcelona School of Architecture (ETSAB) and holds an MSc in Space Syntax: Architecture & Cities from The Bartlett School of Architecture, where she graduated with Distinction and was awarded the Turner Prize (funded by SpaceLab) for the best student dissertation in her year. Tania is also co-founder of knitknot, an architectural collective through which she has developed numerous initiatives, including the crowdfunding and construction of a school in a remote community in Nicaragua.
