Hang Tran
—Architectural Assistant Part I

Hang joined Haworth Tompkins in 2025 after studying at the University of Sheffield and the Technische Universität München. She is working across a range of heritage, residential, and education projects in the studio. Hang was nominated for the RIBA Bronze Medal for her final project 'De-construction Co-op', which explored ways of building and material re-use through conceiving a construction material hub for South Yorkshire. Her interest in theory led her to complete the thesis 'A Brief Genealogy of Spaces of Production', dissecting architectural typologies for material production in the global south in relation to labour. Hang is interested in crafting sensitive interventions through the careful study and reinvention of existing contextual layers.
