James joined Haworth Tompkins in 2021, becoming involved in the studio’s residential projects. Prior to joining he worked across a range of typologies, including education and residential projects, at practices in London, Oslo and Cambridge. James graduated from Manchester School of Architecture with distinction where his thesis project explored the relationships of architecture, craft and ruins in an historic district of Lisbon.
