Joanna joined the practice in 2003 and has been instrumental in the studio's major projects: The National Theatre, Battersea Arts Centre and Park View School. She is a leading member of the Housing team, with her projects including Coin Street Community Centre, Silchester a residential development in Kensington and Chelsea, and 100 new homes for Edenham Way, a brownfield site at the Grade II* listed Trellick Tower.
Chris joined the practice in 2007 and was project architect on the Sackler building for the Royal College of Art and Park View School in Birmingham. He is a leading member of our Housing team, with his projects including: Stead Street and Chobham Manor, as well as new residential and mixed-use schemes including Somerleyton Road, which will provide over 300 homes in Brixton. Chris leads the internal Sustainability team and is an accredited Passivhaus designer.
Lucy joined the practice in 2005. Her projects include Liverpool One regeneration project, the National Theatre, the Clothworkers' Centre for the Victoria and Albert Museum, a performing arts centre for King Edward's School, creating The National Portrait Gallery Masterplan and the renovation of Chichester Festival Theatre, for which she was awarded the RIBA Project Architect of the Year.
Sarah joined the practice in 2011 having directed her own studio, Sarah Hare Architects, which specialised in cultural, community and residential projects. At Haworth Tompkins she helps to manage the Competition process working on new housing and community schemes for Peabody including: the regeneration of the former Holborn Union Infirmary and a mixed-use scheme in East London. Her work includes housing developments in Ufford Street and Harper Road.
