Blackwall Reach

Haworth Tompkins, together with Metropolitan Workshop, are working on phase two of the Blackwall Reach Regeneration Project in Poplar. Phase two will deliver 268 new homes across four new buildings, of which approximately 50% are affordable homes. The existing central park will be retained and improved, including the mound, to provide a large public space shielded from the surrounding roads. We are working on two of the four buildings, which contain high quality homes with a wide range of sizes, types and tenures. The ground and first floors comprise generous family sized maisonettes with private entrances, while single-storey apartments make up the floors above. The majority of homes are dual aspect, providing plenty of daylight, fresh air and views over the park and surrounding area.
